Mini-earthquake

12 Nov

Finally, I am now enrolled for this semester. I have 21 units in my school load.

I did my laundry last night. It was supposed to be a mundane task with nothing spectacular involved. There I was, sitting on a low stool and washing my clothes by  hand, not minding the ‘squish-squish’ sound of fabric against soap bubbles. Then, out of the blue, an earthquake passed through the city. I felt the ground slightly shaking and the walls were rocking to-and-fro. My younger sister and brother noticed it too. It lasted about 10 – 15 seconds.

No major damage was inflicted by the quake. I just got a little dizzy but continued with my laundry. Still, nothing spectacular.
